DENTON, Texas – Denton has implemented mandatory water conservation measures that limit watering of lawns and gardens to once a week, the city announced Tuesday. City officials said the new restrictions were put in place because the city entered stage two of its drought contingency plan after exceeding daily water treatment capacity for three consecutive days.
