BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – After providing financial support to dozens of single mothers in Birmingham, the Embrace Mothers program is coming to an end. Kolesha Holt is one of more than 100 women involved in the city of Birmingham’s Embrace Mothers income pilot program and says the job of mother is a costly task.
