Stockton’s decades-old leadership program’s 2025 class kicks off

Stockton’s decades-old community leadership program kicked off again this month with a 2024-2025 class hailing from law enforcement, schools, nonprofits and more.

Over the next 11 months, Leadership Stockton’s 26 newest participants are set to study the city’s cultural scene, history, economy and other influences, according to the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce , which runs the program.

“The program enriched my knowledge of and appreciation for Stockton’s rich contributions to developments in industry and agriculture at a state, national, and even international level,” Deputy County Administrator Hilary Crowley, a 2024 graduate, said Tuesday.

Founded in 1981, the program aims to “inspire a new generation of community members ready to assume leadership roles in our community,” said chamber CEO Timm Quinn, in a statement.
