MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A judge on Wednesday granted a Mobile man’s request to set bail in an arson case. Kendrick Wheat is accused of setting fire to Maison de Ville Apartments on Berwyn Drive West in November. He’s been locked up since his arrest in May due to a probation revocation in an assault and theft case. But a judge earlier this month sentenced him to time served in those cases.
