Couple Arrested After Refusing to Leave Miami-Bound Flight

Miami, FL – A man and woman were taken into custody on Tuesday after refusing to disembark an American Airlines flight at Miami International Airport.

According to authorities, flight crew members became concerned when they noticed that one of the passengers, identified as Eugenio Ernesto Hernandez-Garnier, 27, was bleeding from a head wound.

Despite multiple requests to de-board the plane due to health and sanitation concerns, Hernandez-Garnier and his companion, Yusleydis Blanca Loyola, 32, both of Las Vegas, refused to comply.

Miami-Dade Police were called to the scene and attempted to remove the couple from the aircraft.

After repeated refusals, the pair were arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest.

Their actions resulted in the entire plane being evacuated, causing significant flight delays.

Both suspects were transported to a local hospital for evaluation of the bleeding wound before being booked into jail.

The cause of the injury remains unknown.
