A sunny break again Friday for southcentral

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The former typhoon that brought gusty winds and coastal waves to western Alaska is moving north and out of the active weather phase for the state. But a smaller area of low pressure is pushing off eastern Russia and passing across the Bering Strait toward Nome. It renews the rain and gusty winds that have been quite common across the region over the week.
