Donny Youngblood endorses Leticia Perez for Kern County Supervisor

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Leticia Perez has been endorsed by the one of the top law enforcement officers in Kern County in her 2024 campaign for the District 5 supervisor seat, Perez’s campaign said Thursday.

Kern County Sheriff-Coroner Donny Youngblood announced his endorsement of Leticia Perez in her quest for re-election as District 5 supervisor. The announcement adds to the list of elected officials and community leaders who have already endorsed Perez.

With her help, we have prioritized public safety by putting more law enforcement officers on our streets and giving our deputies the much needed raises they deserve. Leticia supports our men and women in uniform, and I am proud to support her for Supervisor”

Youngblood recently endorsed CD-20 candidate Mike Boudreaux in his campaign for the seat for California’s 20th Congressional District. Youngblood has served as Sheriff of Kern County since 2006.
