1 arrested after Charleston Apartment Homes homicide; victim identified

UPDATE (Aug. 23, 10:05 a.m.): News 5 has learned more about a Thursday evening homicide at Charleston Apartment Homes.

Missing Navy pilot’s body found: Pensacola Police

Officers responded Thursday, around 8:05 p.m., to 2889 Sollie Road regarding a homicide investigation.

“Upon arrival, officers observed a male victim deceased inside of the apartment unit,” a Mobile Police Department news release said. “Upon further investigation, officers discovered the victim was cut by a knife during an altercation with a known subject.”

Police identified the victim as Taylor Rawlins, 33.

Thursday night, police arrested Jennifer Heathcoe, 31, of Mobile, and took her to Metro Jail, News 5 has learned.
