Port Richey brothers plead guilty in drug trafficking case

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Port Richey brothers face a maximum of life in prison after pleading guilty to drug trafficking.

Marcus Fowler, 33, and Pierre Fowler, 35, have pleaded guilty to distribute over 400 grams of fentanyl, over 500 grams of methamphetamine, and cocaine, according to the Department of Justice.

Marcus Fowler also pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute 500 grams of cocaine.

According to the DOJ, the brothers conspired with others to distribute drugs beginning in 2006.

In 2023, law enforcement agents seized drugs through postal intercepts that were for people working with them.

In Feb. of 2023, agents found drugs and firearms, including a machinegun from the Fowler’s stash house in Tarpon Springs, according to the DOJ.

Both Marcus and Pierre used the drug money and purchased numerous properties in Pinellas and Pasco County. With the plea agreement the Fowler’s agreed to forfeit nine properties that were traceable to the offense.
