( KRON ) – The San Jose Police Department is investigating the city’s 13th pedestrian death of the year.
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near Automation Parkway and Hostetter Road at 8:49 p.m. on Thursday. The adult male victim was taken to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Oakland crews contain two-alarm fire at former restaurant early Friday
San Jose PD said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
