SPOKANE – Avista, in coordination with the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality and the Washington Department of Ecology, is reducing water discharge from the Post Falls Dam to the minimum flow requirements. This reduction is in response to ongoing hot and dry weather conditions that have lowered water levels in Coeur d’Alene Lake and the Spokane River.
