A compromise bill that will expand access to an array of critical maternal health services is now the law of the land in Massachusetts. Democratic Gov. Maura Healey signed the legislation on Friday. It was one of the Legislature’s pieces of unfinished business left over from the end of formal sessions earlier this month.
