BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Amazon is now hiring for positions at a new facility in Bakersfield, the company announced Friday.
Over 1,000 full-time and part-time jobs are now up for grabs at a new Inbound Cross Dock facility (IXD) located at 5408 Express Avenue. Set to launch in Fall 2024, the new facility will receive and consolidate products from vendors and then ship products to surrounding fulfillment centers.

The jobs starting pay will be $17.75 per hour and includes comprehensive benefits. Interested candidates can view open roles and apply online , starting August 23rd.
New positions will continue to be posted every Friday on the Amazon website, according to organizers.
