Spokane’s new police chief will be sworn in next week

SPOKANE, Wash. – The incoming Spokane Police Chief Kevin Hall will make his new role official when he is sworn in during a ceremony on Monday.

The ceremony will take place on August 26 at 12 p.m. at the Tribal Gathering Place outside of Spokane City Hall.

The Spokane Police Department Honor Guard, remarks by Mayor Brown and Chief Hall and live performances will be featured in next week’s ceremony.

Chief Hall comes from Arizona where he was the with the Tucson Police Department for over 30 years. He most recently served as Assistant Chief of Police since 2016.
