The DeKalb County Police Department reported that they were summoned to the scene after receiving a call about a person suffering from a gunshot wound on the exit ramp from Interstate 285 southbound to Interstate 20 eastbound. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the shooting took place just before 11 p.m., and the injured man was promptly transported to an area hospital for medical attention.
