Idaho DHW to suspend hunting, fishing licenses for overdue child support payments

Boise, ID (CBS2) – The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare will start cracking down on those who are behind on child support by suspending hunting and fishing privileges. Idahoans owe $130 million in past-due child support in 24,251 cases, the department says that on September 1, 2024, they will raise the minimum child support payments on parents who owe past-due child support in order to maintain their hunting and fishing privileges.
