Idaho Law Enforcement Mobilizes to Stop Impaired Driving this Labor Day

Law enforcement across Idaho is joining the Idaho Office of Highway Safety in a Labor Day Impaired Driving Mobilization. More officers are on the road now through September 2nd to help stop impaired drivers. Labor Day also marks the end of the 100 Deadliest Days on Idaho roads. At the start of the summer, the number of fatalities was trending above the previous year. However, the rate of deadly crashes slowed after the 4th of July. Currently, 70 people have died on Idaho roads this summer, down from last summer at this time when the total was 79.
