Major 1 Million SF FL Shopping Mall, Miami International Mall, Loses Over Half Its Monetary Value

If you are a Floridian, you know that there are several major malls scattered throughout the state. Examples are Sawgrass Mills, The Florida Mall, and Aventura Mall, to name a few. However, one of Florida’s malls, Miami International Mall, has reportedly lost half its value.

About Miami International Mall: This is a huge mall – spanning 1 million square feet – and it is visited by 12 million shoppers each year. It offers a wide range of retailers and restaurants, such as Macy’s, J.C. Penney, American Eagle Outfitters, Guess, Forever 21, BJ’s Restaurant And Brewhouse, and Pandora.

Patrons have reviewed this mall over 14,000 times and give it 4.4 out of 5 stars. Many compliment the variety of retailers and selections at the food court. A reviewer named Mariela wrote, in part:

“International Mall in Miami is the ultimate shopping destination! Seriously, this place has it all. From the latest fashion trends to awesome dining options, it’s like a one-stop shop for everything you need…”

The Loss Of Valuation: According to BISNOW, a July 2024 appraisal valued the mall at $159 million, which is substantially less its $391 million valuation in 2013.
