GUNTER, Texas (KXII) – Firefighters from five different Texoma cities raced to Gunter on Friday afternoon to put out a grass fire that caught in a dangerous spot. Crews from Gunter, Collinsville, Celina, Van Alstyne, and Tioga all converged on an empty field where a mower nicked a rock and sparked a blaze that came within a stone’s throw of a Gunter neighborhood and a construction site.
