Rio Rancho bowling fundraiser collects money for veteran business owners

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – The Rio Rancho community is backing their veterans by knocking down some bowling pins.

The Veterans Business Support Coalition hosted the annual “Back Our Veterans” Bowling Tournament on Sunday to help raise grant money for veteran-owned businesses.

The money benefits businesses three years or younger with fewer than 15 employees.

Members of the Chamber of Commerce said the city is very veteran-friendly, and this event is just one of the ways they show support.
