UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 26, 2024) – There’s some good news, and some bad news, for motorists beginning on Monday. First, the bad. Michigan Department of Transportation contractors will block off 112th Avenue at Business 196 through mid-September. This is to accommodate the reconstruction of the westbound lanes of the state trunk route, and is part of the ongoing rebuild of the divided highway that began in mid-April and isn’t expected to be completed until Thanksgiving.
