11-year-old girl dies in Stockton crash that involved five other teens

(FOX40.COM) — An 11-year-old girl is dead after a vehicle she was in crashed into a tree, according to the Stockton Police Department.

Around 7:45 a.m., SPD responded to the 5800 block of North El Dorado Street for a report of a car crash. When officers arrived, they found an 11-year-old girl. They also found four teen girls, ages 13,14, 14, and 15; and a teen boy, age 13.

Police said the 11-year-old girl died from her injuries at the hospital. The five other teens were treated for “what appears to be non-life-threatening injuries,” according to SPD.

As of 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, police said to avoid the area and use alternate routes as law enforcement investigates the incident.
