Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein will be on the Florida ballot in November, and she’ll be in the state to make a couple of appearances next week.

Stein will be in Tampa on Sept. 3 to attend the opening day of the federal trial of Omali Yeshitela and two other members of the International Democratic People’s Uhuru Movement , which has a base in St Petersburg. They face charges of working with three Russian intelligence agents to sow discord, spread pro-Russia propaganda, and interfere in U.S. elections.

A spokesperson for Stein calls the charges “unfounded and unjust.”

On Sept. 4, Stein will appear in Jacksonville in a public conversation with International Studies Professor Jorge Majfud at Terry Concert Hall on the Jacksonville University campus at 5:30 p.m.

Stein is running on the Green Party ticket with Rudolph “Butch” Ware, an associate professor at the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Stein was on the ballot as the Green Party presidential nominee in Florida in both 2012 and 2016. In 2012, she received just 8,947 votes and 0.1% of the total vote.
