BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) -The Idaho Public Utilities Commission is accepting comments on Avista Utilities’ power cost adjustment application. Avista Utilities is proposing a rate adjustment which could potentially give $6.6 million in rebates to customers, effective Oct. 1, 2024. The company said the rebate is associated with power supply costs that were lower than those included in retail rates, due to lower wholesale electric and natural gas prices.
