Major traffic disruptions are expected as partial demolition of the Main Street Bridge begins, part of a larger highway expansion project. The Texas Department of Transportation will close both north and southbound lanes of I-35 at Main Street from Sept. 6 through the weekend. The closure is necessary for the partial demolition of the Main Street/1171 bridge.
