BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – There was a special send-off for a boy who spent several weeks in a Bakersfield hospital, recovering from severe burns to most of his body. 10-year-old Joseph Jimenez, a burn survivor, was admitted for over five weeks due to a fire accident from playing with a lighter and spray can at home in July.
