The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has announced that lake levels at ten of the largest tributary dams are now lower than normal for this time of year because of below-normal rainfall and runoff. Plus, as summer lingers, water temperatures continue to heat up, and the TVA will need to release more water from the dams to meet minimum flow requirements for water quality, supply, and power generation.
