HOUSTON, Texas – A recent anti-crime initiative led by Constable Mark Herman’s office in the West District of Precinct 4 has yielded significant results. The Overtime West District Patrol Division Impaired Driver/Anti-Crime Task Force, conducted on August 23-24, 2024, focused on increasing visibility, mobility, and traffic enforcement in predesignated areas within Precinct 4, particularly around the Cypress Community. The initiative aimed to address citizens’ safety concerns by deploying additional overtime patrol personnel during a projected busy weekend.
