More real estate surrounding the historic Union Block building in downtown Boise is closed to the public. The Ada County Highway District put out an alert on Saturday evening closing a portion of the alleyway directly behind the Idaho Street building between Idaho and Bannock streets. The news alert announcing the closure said it was requested by the City of Boise as a precaution due to concerns over the “structural integrity” of the alleyway.
