Several apartments damaged by overnight fire in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. – Multiple people’s homes were damaged after a fire broke out overnight Tuesday at a Tampa apartment complex, fire rescue crews say. Around 2 a.m. Tuesday, multiple 911 calls came in to dispatchers reporting heavy smoke coming from an apartment complex on W. Sligh Avenue, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue crews said. According to Google Maps, the apartments are at the Egypt Lake Beach Club Condo.
