NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The Norfolk Police Department responded to a shooting on Chesapeake Boulevard Monday night.
According to officials, the incident occurred in the 9000 block of Chesapeake Boulevard around 11:30 p.m.
Officers arrived to the scene and found a man suffering from a non life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transferred to a local hospital for treatment.
An investigation revealed the incident occurred in the parking lot of 735 East Ocean View Avenue. Anyone with any information on this incident is urged to contact the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
