The subject for the Estes Valley Astronomical Society’s (EVAS) monthly meeting is deep space exploration at Lockheed Martin Space Division. EVAS, in conjunction with The Estes Park Memorial Observatory, is offering a free public open house and lecture on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024. This talk was originally scheduled for last October but had to be cancelled because of the weather. The goal of EVAS is to promote amateur astronomy and education in the Estes Valley.
