SYRACUSE, N.Y. – A 20-year-old was shot in the thigh in the early hours of Tuesday in Syracuse. At approximately 4:16 a.m., the Syracuse Police Department reports officers responded to the area of Beattie Street and Niven Street in response to a report of a shooting with injuries. When they arrived, officers found a 20-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the thigh.
