CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The National Hurricane Center is watching an area of the central Atlantic where a low-pressure area could form. The area could form in a few days and environmental conditions could allow some slow development over the weekend or early next week as it moves westward or west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph.
