Trees of Hope, a fundraiser to spread hope and Christmas cheer, coming to Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — The Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries is preparing to host an event that organizers say is designed to spread hope and Christmas cheer to Alabama foster children.

According to a news release, the Trees for Hope Gala and Auction is scheduled for Nov. 14 from 6-8 p.m. at Spring Hill Baptist Church (2 S. McGregor Avenue, Mobile, AL 36608).

LOCATION:

The event, according to organizers, features a festive evening with heavy hors d’oeuvres, coffees, desserts, and decorated trees and wreaths for bidding. Attendees can participate in a live auction where they can bid for things from weekend giveaways to dining and culinary experiences to fun activities.

WKRG News 5’s Grant Skinner will emcee the event.

All proceeds from the Trees for Hope event will directly benefit the Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries, according to the release.
