ELLENTON, Fla. – A Manatee County man is dead after a 17-year-old driver hit him with her car, Florida Highway Patrol says. According to an FHP news release, a teenage girl was backing a Jeep out of a driveway a little after 7 a.m. in the area of Bayshore Drive in Ellenton.
