Arkansas Storm Team Forecast: Turning Unsettled For The Labor Day Weekend

Another 100° day is expected Wednesday, but relief is on the way. We’ll have to deal with mid 90s Thursday with a very slight chance for an isolated shower or storm. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, scattered thunderstorm chances increase as a strong cool front moves into the state. While the threat for severe weather will be quite low, lightning will be an issue. When you hear thunder, get inside! The rain chances go down Labor Day, but not out. By Tuesday, lower humidity values will overspread the state with highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s. Make sure you have the Arkansas Storm Team app on your phone. -Todd Yakoubian
