NORFOLK, Va. – About 800 customers in the area of West 21st Street and Colonial Avenue in Norfolk are out of power due to an equipment failure. Dominion Energy spokeswoman Cherise Newsome said the equipment failure caused a power pole fire, leading to the outage for about 800 customers. A Dominion crew is on scene assessing damage and working to restore power by this evening, Newsome stated.
