Sauvie Island corn maze offering free admission for local teachers

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — Bella Organic Farm on Sauvie Island is honoring Oregon’s teachers in 2024 by offering free corn maze admission to all school employees in the state for the entire season.

The design of this year’s corn maze is also a tribute to teachers, spelling out “Thank You Teachers” when viewed from above.

“This year, our Corn Maze is dedicated to teacher appreciation,” Bella Organic announced. “To all teachers, administrators, and school staff members: thank you. The impact you leave on our communities goes well beyond the classroom.”

The Bella Organic corn maze opens Aug. 31 and will be open daily through Oct. 31. The farm’s pumpkin patch and pumpkin patch activities, like hayrides, open on Sept. 28 and run through Oct. 31.

Corn Maze Hours:

  • Aug. 31-Sept. 27 : 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Sept. 28-Oct. 30 : Sunday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday-Saturday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Halloween : 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
