Unidentified man killed in auto vs pedestrian accident, coroner seeks leads

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A pedestrian killed in a collision with a vehicle last Friday remains unidentified, according to the coroner’s office.

Around 10:23 p.m. on Aug. 23, the man was struck by a vehicle on College Park Road near Moses Extension in Summerville, Berkeley County Coroner Darnell Hartwell said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where they died from injuries sustained in the crash. Coroner Hartwell says the unidentified man is a Hispanic male between 30-45 years old.
