Mobile woman arrested after Dawes Road business struck by gunfire: Police

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Officers with the Mobile Police Department arrested a woman who is accused of shooting into a building while trying to shoot two people.

26-year-old Katera Symone Banks was arrested Wednesday and charged with shooting into an occupied building.

According to previous reporting, MPD said in a press release that officers were called to a business on the 1100 block of Dawes Road around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday for a report of shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found that a female driver, now identified as Banks, had fired shots from her vehicle toward two people who were pulling into the parking lot of the business.

Police said no one was injured.
