Get a cup of coffee from this Gem of Tampa Bay housed inside a 100-year-old bungalow

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — If you cannot get through your day without a cup of coffee, make sure you make some time to visit this hidden gem.

Felicitous, a coffee and tea shop , has been open for about 18 years, but the building it is housed in used to be a barber shop and an office at some point.

“It’s definitely got a very rich culture and you can see from the architecture,” Felicitous Owner Paul Venghaus said.

Venghaus’ wife, Corrinne has also been operating the coffee shop over the years.

“She was a pastry chef from the mountains of Taiwan and actually ran a café with her mom and her dad in Tawain when she was growing up,” Venghaus explained. “She learned some of the tricks in the trade and also developed a passion for the industry in the culture as well. “

This gem roasts its own coffee. Some of their handcrafted drinks include the Honey Bear and the Dreamcatcher.

Customers can grab baked muffins, pastries and sandwiches at the shop, as well.
