A private, for-profit university based in Utah is expanding its virtual nursing program into Oregon in an attempt to help meet demand for health care workers. Joyce University of Nursing and Health Sciences, which has over 2,000 students enrolled, plans to offer an associate degree in nursing, a bachelor of science in nursing and an accelerated bachelor of science in nursing to Oregon residents starting in 2025.
