SAN JOSE, Calif. ( KRON ) — It’s a somber morning in the South Bay as San Jose police prepare the funeral of one of their own. Community Service Officer Long Pham was killed on the job.
He was struck and killed by a suspected drunk driver while directing traffic during the overnight hours earlier this month. Funeral services are set to take place at 11 a.m. Friday morning at the SAP Center in San Jose.

The San Jose Police Department and other law enforcement agencies are set to have a large funeral procession as his family and friends say their final goodbyes.
