Proposed Ferrari Facility Vote Postponed in Florida

The Boca Raton City Council recently decided to delay a vote on a proposed Ferrari facility, bringing local development plans to a temporary halt. On Tuesday, the council unanimously agreed to push the decision to September 10, giving city staff more time to review new information presented by Recovery Racing LLC, the company behind the proposal.

Focus on the Proposed Ferrari Facility

Recovery Racing LLC, owned by Stuart and Garrett Hayim, who also operate the Ferrari dealership in Fort Lauderdale, is seeking approval to convert a warehouse at 6403 West Rogers Circle into a 48,461-square-foot facility. The facility is intended to be a hub where Ferraris can be repaired, cleaned, stored, and showcased.

Originally, city officials were prepared to discuss the proposal, but City Manager George S. Brown requested more time for staff to evaluate new details provided by the applicants. Among the fresh submissions were revised floor plans that significantly altered the city’s initial perception of the project.
