Stockton: 40-Year-Old Man Arrested Over Shooting Death Of Woman Earlier This Month

A 40-year-old man was arrested in connection with the shooting death of a woman earlier this month in Stockton, police said Thursday.

Jason Cinotti was located and booked into jail on Tuesday on suspicion of killing 31-year-old Chelsie Wilson Archuleta, a resident of Stockton, on Aug. 3.

On the day of the shooting, officers from the Stockton Police Department responded at about 2 a.m. to a residence in the 200 block of E Churchill Street on a report of a person shot.

Wilson Archuleta was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was provided medical aid. She was taken to a hospital but died days later, police said.

Police did not release any details about what led to the shooting.
