Parrotheads unite! The Florida Legislature has designated Aug. 30 as “Jimmy Buffett Day” and it will be celebrated for the first time on Friday. Parts of A1A in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe Counties will also bear the name “Jimmy Buffett Memorial Highway” with the first sign set to be unveiled in the Key West potion of A1A on Friday.
