Juvenile arrested again after multiple alleged burglary sprees near Delano, Earlimart

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Tulare County Sheriff’s Department arrested a 14-year-old after an investigation into multiple burglaries in Kern and Tulare counties.

The juvenile was allegedly involved in three different burglaries back on July 28, at a travel plaza in Delano, La Princesa Bakery in Richgrove and Cesi’s Cafe in Alpaugh, according to TCSO. Four suspects were involved and deputies learned cash was stolen from the stores, as well as the stolen vehicles used in the burglaries were later burned.

The juvenile and 20-year-old Dencio Cantorna Jr., of Delano, were arrested shortly after.

Then on Aug. 28, after two more burglaries occurred in Tipton and Earlimart, deputies identified the same 14-year-old juvenile to be involved in the incidents and arrested him under suspicion of arson, conspiracy, vehicle theft and burglary. He had recently been released back to his mother from the Tulare County Juvenile Detention Facility, officials said.
