Multiple lanes were closed on I-64 East in Henrico County due to tractor-trailer crash

UPDATE: All lanes are open and the scene is clear.

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Multiple lanes were closed on a section of Interstate 64 East in Henrico County due to a tractor-trailer crash, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

At around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30, the left shoulder, left lane and center lane were reported closed on I-64 East near the North Parham Road exit due to a tractor-trailer crash.

A video captured by an 8News team member shows multiple vehicles near the shoulder of the interstate, including two tractor-trailers and a police car.

According to the department, drivers expected delays.

By around 4 p.m., the scene was reported clear and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
