Driver behind bars after high-speed chase starts in Kansas, ends in Missouri

BATES CO., Mo. (KCTV) – One driver is behind bars after a high-speed chase started in Kansas and ended in western Missouri with an arrest by law enforcement officials. The Bates County, Missouri, Sheriff’s Office says that on Tuesday, Aug. 27, deputies were notified that the pursuit of a criminal by the Miami County, Kansas, Sheriff’s Office was about to enter their jurisdiction. An SUV pulling a trailer had failed to pull over for a traffic stop and attempted to speed away.
